It's very easy to email files, simply drag an
email into the email window, and it's attached
ready to send.
It's also very easy to not think about what you're
about to send. In the case if email attachments,
size does matter, this cannot be stressed enough!.
Keep the email as small as possible, use compression software
like Winzip on the files before attaching them if possible.
WinZip is the most common and widely used file compression
utility, and very easy to use. It can be downloaded here...

There are a few pointers you should consider
when it comes to emailing files...

Keep the attachment as small
as possible, using compression software where
possible. |

If you're sending many files, try splitting
them up into smaller emails. This will reduce the impact
of sending one huge email, in other words it will annoy
the recipient a little less! |

Remember there are email size
restrictions. Most service providers have
an email size limit of between 1MB and 2MB
per email. Emails exceeding this limit will
get returned to you. |

Remember that all mailboxes
also have size restrictions (until you download
it onto your own PC). If you fill their mailbox,
the emails will get returned to you. |
