Ethernet
|
A style of LAN that was developed by Xerox in 1976
and now the most popular choice with enthusiasts and
companies alike, having greater reliability than Token
Ring. Ethernet uses either coaxial cable (like a TV

look like telephone plugs on the end. This style of
cabling requires all PCs to be plugged into a central
'hub' for the network to function correctly.
